Addendum on the subject of Chelsea Watson:
It is said that Chelsea Watson could draw a steel blade out of thin air, or pull it right out of her enemies. She didn’t need to see anything to move it, touch it, mold it to her needs — some of the older Agents still remember the day she impressed Elmren Lloyd by pulling his own blade from its sheath, and drawing it out of a Qoshlar commander moments later, gutting the grown man from the inside. All while she was still at base camp.
Duenotic Masters would use her shining example for decades to come, the mysterious Al’esictian with quick wit and fierce creativity who seemed to keep Magick wrapped around her little finger. She had practically mastered Rematerialisation before most Duetines had finished basic training. Alongside her training partner Katherine Ross, Watson was expected to rise up in the ranks of the Duenotic Council.
Such has it always been a mystery how little of her career remains in the Shardic records. She had been a highly requested Duetine amongst Shardic officers, and yet, her name scarcely appears across all official records throughout the 8590s. Many attribute this disappearance to her extremely early resignation, having left the Shardic Order sometime in 8592. However, several correspondence records from the Siege on Arrowyn City and the Stoney Creek Road Shooting show that Watson had been on active duty during both events. Yet, few seem to recall if she had been there at all.
So truthfully, Chelsea Watson is only properly remembered for 2 things: her innovations in the Art of Rematerialisation; and for bringing Autumn Follen Nicholasworth, &c., into the public eye in 8599 by enrolling her in Whitley Village School. All else, including her present fate, remains quite the mystery.
